# Introduction

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to configure alert notification emails in the Nile Portal.

## Prerequisites

- Access to Nile Portal with an admin account.

## Steps to Create a New Admin Account

1. **Login to Nile Portal with Admin Account**
   - Use your existing admin credentials to log in to the Nile Portal.
2. **Create a New Admin Account**
   - Navigate to Network Setup**> Admins**.
   - Click on the **+** button to add a new user.
   - Fill in the required information to create the new admin account.

## Steps to Create Email Subscriptions

1. **Login with the New Admin Account**
   - Use the credentials of the newly created admin account to log in to the Nile Portal.
2. **Configure Email Subscriptions**
   - Navigate to** Global Settings > Integrations**.
   - Click on **Subscribe to alerts and events**.
   - Enter the email address that will receive the email notifications and alerts.
   - Click on **Next**.

1. **Select Email Subscriptions**
   - Choose the desired email subscription options based on your requirements.
   - Click on **Save**.

## Viewing Alerts

- After enabling your subscription(s), you will receive alerts related to your system.
- To view alerts directly on the Nile Portal:
  - Use the **quick view** by clicking on the **Triangle with Exclamation Mark** icon located at the top right of any Nile Portal screen.
  - For a comprehensive view, click on **Alerts** from the left-hand navigation bar.
