Sys LED Status

Recommended Action

Blinking Green

System Initializing

It is a transient state during the initial bring-up of the switch; if the LED stays persistent, contact Nile Support.

Solid Green

NE is connected to both the NSB GW and the Nile Cloud, and the Nile Access Service is operational.

- No action is necessary. The Nile Access Service is operational and connected to Cloud.

Blinking Blue

Bluetooth enabled and available. Connection to the Nile Cloud and the local NSB gateway is not established, and BLE is ready for pairing.

- If it is new/out of the box, proceed with the setup. - If still in the same state after activation: - Verify connectivity issues between the NE and the Nile Cloud (e.g., firewall, routing). - Check for cable issues between the NE and NSB Gateway. - Investigate if the network closet is isolated from the rest of the network in case of multiple affected NEs. - Ensure the NE is activated through the mobile app.

Solid Blue

Bluetooth connected to the mobile app

- If the mobile app hasn’t paired to the NE for troubleshooting, but the LED is solid blue, reboot the switch.

Blinking Red

NE has connected either to the NSB GW or the Nile Cloud.

- The NEs might have lost connectivity to the cloud. Check firewall rules and ISP issues. - If the NSB GW is down, Nile will proactively notify you, and a Nile CSM will reach out.

Solid Red

Most probably a system failure if the LED is solid red for more than 20-30 seconds.

- If the persistent state is solid red, contact Nile Support.

Power LED Status

Condition

Recommended Action

Solid Green

The power module is okay and delivering the correct power.

- No action necessary

Blinking Red

The power input is okay, but the PSU output failed, or the power module is not inserted properly.

- Reseat the power module/cable.

Solid Red

Either one of the two power cords is connected, or one of the power supply modules failed.

- Verify both power supplies are connected and providing power. - Check if the UPS is working fine. - Check the PSU LED at the back of the switch: - Amber indicates active but not receiving power. - No LED indicates a PSU issue. - Contact Nile Support if needed.
