Setup Guest Portal
Nile supports two types of guest portals: Terms and Conditions (TNC) and Email Approval.
Click-Through: This will be used when you want to create an open SSID Captive Portal for guest users but want them to accept your company terms and conditions before they can access the guest network.
Email Approval: In the email approval guest portal, the guest user must input the email address of the person they are visiting, and then the employee will receive an email to approve or deny the user's access to the guest network.
Before you start configuring the guest portal, make sure you have your company's terms and conditions policies ready, as they will vary according to your company's cyber rules. Nile does have default terms and condition policies defined that you can use as well.
- Login to the Nile Portal and click on the "Settings" tab from the left side navigation pane. Click on Authentication.
- Click on the "+" sign under the Guest Portal tab.
- Select the "Nile Guest" option and choose the "Click-Through" or "Email Approval" option from the dropdown.
- Select the appropriate Geo-scope and click "Save".
